Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g liver sausage (liver bread), Westphalian, corresponds to approx. 6 slices
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • ¾ bunch sage
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • 650 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • some maple syrup
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely chop the onion and sauté. Cut the liver bread into 1 cm cubes and fry with the onions until golden brown. Chop the pears into small pieces and add them while frying. Drizzle with a little maple syrup. Meanwhile, prepare the gnocchi in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. When the gnocchi float to the top, remove from the water. Then, depending on the portion size, fry the gnocchi in the pan with the liver bread or in a separate pan. To do this, fry the gnocchi with the butter and finely chopped sage until golden brown. Mix with the liver bread and serve.
