Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 medium-sized bell pepper(s), orange
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 m.-large onion(s), red
  • 1 small jar of capers, 90 g
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • some olive oil or linseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 15 minutes

Chop the bell pepper, onion, and garlic cloves into small pieces. Transfer to a Tupperware container or other suitable container. Drain the caper liquid. Add the capers, vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Top up with flaxseed or olive oil until the ingredients are lightly coated. Stir gently. Seal the container and let it sit in the refrigerator for a few days. It can then be used as a salad dressing and tastes great with leaf or tomato salad, or even with tomato and mozzarella. It will keep for a long time in the refrigerator.
