Salted Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 55 g butter or margarine
  • 115 g peanut butter
  • 170 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp milk
  • ¼ tsp fleur de sel
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 85 g flour
  • 60 g breadcrumbs (salted pretzels), finely ground
  • 30 g chocolate chips
  • Fleur de Sel for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Salty chocolate cookies with peanut butter and pretzels

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. In a large bowl, cream the butter and peanut butter until fluffy. Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, egg, and milk for one minute. Next, briefly mix in the salt, baking powder, flour, and pretzel crumbs, then fold in the chocolate pieces. Using a tablespoon, place small mounds of dough onto the baking sheet and press them in a cross shape with a fork. Sprinkle each cookie with a little fleur de sel. Place the baking sheets in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes.
