Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta (spirelli, fork spaghetti)
- 300 g meat sausage or ham
- 100 ml cream
- 100 ml milk
- 4 eggs
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- 200 g cheese, grated

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Dice the sausage or ham. Mix with the pasta in a casserole dish. Whisk together the cream, milk, and eggs, season to taste (a little less salt if using ham), and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 35-40 minutes. If desired, you can garnish with whatever you have in your fridge or freezer—e.g., peppers, broccoli, peas, etc. Serve with a green salad, and you have a super-quick dinner!
