Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 125 g sugar
- 250 g flour
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 kg apples (Braeburn or Boskop)
- 750 ml white wine, sweet (not too sweet) or apple juice for children
- 2 packets of pudding powder (vanilla pudding for cooking)
- 250 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 30 minutes
Dough: Knead the ingredients into a dough and spread it into a greased 26 cm springform pan lined with baking paper, forming a smooth base. Create a rim about 2 – 3 cm high. Prick several times with a fork. Topping: Coarsely grate the apples. Bring the wine and sugar to the boil. Use the custard powder as usual according to the package instructions and make a pudding (use wine or apple juice instead of milk). Add the grated apples and leave to cool for about 10 minutes. Pour into the springform pan and bake for about 1 hour at 180°C (preheated). Leave to cool completely (ideally overnight). Enjoy as cold as possible.
