Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 slices of white bread
  • 2 slice(s) salami, or turkey breast
  • 2 slices of cheese, e.g. Edam and young Gouda
  • 1 ball of mozzarella (buffalo)
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 3 slice(s) tomato(s), sprinkled with pepper
  • 3 slices of cucumber
  • 2 ring(s) red onion(s)
  • mayonnaise
  • Mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Always a hit with friends…

Fry the bacon. Spread butter on both sides of two slices of toast. Fry until golden brown. Spread the third slice with butter, but first cut off the crust and set it aside. Now place the sausage on top, followed by the mozzarella and bacon, and a lettuce leaf. Spread it with mayonnaise. Now place the third slice of uncooked toast on top. Top with the cheese and spread with the mustard. Add the remaining vegetables, starting with the onions and finishing with the lettuce, and secure with a little butter if desired. Cut into triangles and serve. Tip: Let it stand at room temperature for a while to make it really moist.
