Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g whole wheat flour
  • 150 g wheat flour type 550
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking soda
  • 1 tsp, heaped sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g butter, melted and cooled
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g mini mozzarella
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 1 egg(s), beaten
  • n. B. Cheese, grated
  • n. B. Poppy
  • e.g. sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for school, office, for breakfast, without yeast, with wholemeal flour, makes 8 pieces

Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder in a bowl. Add the melted butter and milk, tear the mozzarella, and knead everything with a dough hook until a smooth dough forms. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 20 cm x 30 cm. Place on the baking sheet, brush with egg, and sprinkle with the desired topping. Divide into eight pieces and bake the rolls for approximately 10-15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
