Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 cans of sardines (skinless and boneless, in olive oil), each weighing 80 to 90 g
- 180 g cream cheese spread (cheese wedges), approx.
- ½ lemon(s), the juice
- chili powder
- possibly salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Sardine cream
Drain the sardines (reserve some of the oil). Then mix the ingredients well with a fork (do not blend). Add a little chili powder to taste, a little more oil, and salt and pepper if desired. Delicious as a spread, as a filling for tomato baskets, or deviled eggs. Tip: You can also substitute cream cheese or mascarpone for the cream cheese.
