Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml water, possibly more
  • 250 g beef, diced
  • 250 g diced mutton
  • 250 g pork, diced
  • 80 g butter
  • 3 medium-sized onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, rose hot
  • some salt
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 350 g tomatoes
  • 4 bell peppers, cut into strips
  • 125 ml whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Brown the diced meat in a pan with butter, stir in the chopped onions and crushed garlic. Stir in the paprika and roast briefly. Pour in approximately 250 ml of water and sprinkle with salt and caraway seeds. Braise the meat for 40-50 minutes (adding a little more water if necessary). Add the tomato slices and pepper strips and cook the meat in a covered pan. Season to taste, remove from heat, and stir in the cream. Serve with rice and fresh salad.
