Sauce for currywurst

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml ketchup
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 6 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp cola
  • 2 tbsp curry powder, or to taste
  • ½ tbsp vegetable stock powder, instant
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix everything together in a bowl (this works best with a whisk), season to taste, and heat briefly (it doesn’t need to boil). If the sauce sits hot for too long, it will thicken too much, so serve immediately. Tip: This also goes wonderfully with tofu sausages.
