Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 Vienna sausages or other boiled sausages
- 4 Mettenden
- 2 onions
- 200 g pasta of your choice
- ¾ liter vegetable broth
- 2 bell peppers, red and green
- 1 small can of corn (approx. 140 g), drained
- Tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- e.g. parsley, chopped
- some coriander leaves or other herbs as desired
- some sauce thickener if needed
- Mustard
- curry powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Fix without fix
Peel and dice the onions, then sauté in a deep pan or saucepan until translucent. Slice the boiled sausages and Mettenden sausages, add to the onions, and fry. Trim and dice the bell peppers, then add them to the pan along with the drained corn. Sauté briefly. Pour in the broth and then add the raw noodles. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Thicken with a sauce thickener if desired. Season to taste with tomato paste, mustard, a little salt, pepper, paprika, and curry powder. Finally, season with chopped parsley and coriander and serve immediately.
