Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 bell peppers, colored
- 100 g onion(s), diced
- 3 tbsp oil
- 200 g tomatoes, peeled and diced
- 5 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 3 tbsp crème fraîche or sour cream
- some basil
- Oregano, dried
- 300 g meat sausage, skinned and roughly diced
- some salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- possibly broth

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

In a pan, sauté the peppers, garlic, and onions in oil. Then add the tomatoes and sauté. Add ketchup, crème fraîche, or sour cream, and toss with the basil and oregano. If there’s not enough sauce, add a little more vegetable stock. Add the sausage and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. I always serve this with pasta.
