Vegetable pan with Leberkäse

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g Leberkäse
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml water
  • 600 g buttered vegetables, frozen
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche with garlic
  • ½ point mixed herbs (8-herb blend), frozen

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Leberkäse into strips. Heat oil in a pan. Brown the Leberkäse vigorously. Season with pepper. Remove from the pan. Add 200 ml of water and the unthawed vegetables to the pan. Bring to a boil once, then cover and cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes. Add the Leberkäse to the vegetables and heat briefly. Stir in the crème fraîche and herbs. Season the vegetable pan with salt and pepper. When serving, top with a dollop of crème fraîche.
