Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 large meat sausage
- 1 bottle of tomato juice
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp mustard, e.g. B. Bautzner mustard
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper
- curry
- ketchup
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the sausage and cut into large cubes, finely dice the onion. Fry the sausage in a pan with the oil. When it starts to brown slightly, add the onions and continue frying until translucent. Deglaze everything with the tomato juice, add the mustard, and season with ketchup, salt, pepper, and curry powder. Let it simmer for a few minutes with the lid on. Meanwhile, mix the milk and flour in a bowl until lump-free. Then slowly add this mixture to the pan, stirring well, until the sauce reaches the desired thickness. Cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. This sausage goulash tastes delicious with rice or noodles. It tastes even better reheated.
