Sausage Goulash with Egg

The perfect sausage goulash with egg recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 glass Smoked sausages e.g. Böklunder
  • 1 average Vegetable onion
  • 3 average Garlic cloves
  • 1 carton Tomato sauce 350-400ml
  • 0,5 carton Cream 250ml
  • 1 st Stock cube
  • 4 fresh Eggs
  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 3 El Olive oil
  1. Rucki-Zucki kitchen … Put plenty of water in a saucepan & bring to the boil (for rice). Chop the onion and the garlic cloves. Fry them in a large pan with a little olive oil and add the chopped sausages (the first sausage from the middle is for you … “quality control”).
  2. When everything is well seared, crumble the stock cube over the mixture and add the tomato sauce. Let the whole mixture simmer on a low heat for about 10 minutes and stir occasionally. When everything is well done, fold in the cream and let it simmer on a low heat. When everything is well mixed and simmering, break the eggs and add them directly to the hot sauce. Then cover the pan and turn down the fire. This allows the eggs to cook slowly in the sauce and absorb the aroma at the same time.
  3. In the meantime, add the rice to the boiling water and cook for about 15-20 minutes until it is soft. then drain and serve with the sausage goulash with egg. Enjoy your meal !!
  4. The eggs don’t look that great … but taste all the better! My children don’t care – they don’t give in until the pan is empty … Bon appetit!
