Sausage Salad 1887
The perfect sausage salad 1887 recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Leftover sausage I use beer ham, paprika doner and cooked sausage
- 200 ml Water
- 150 ml Oil
- 1 tsp Linseed oil
- 75 ml Bianco balsamic vinegar
- 2 Splash Citric acid
- 1 tsp Mustard medium hot
- 1 Pr Sugar
- 200 gr Edam
- 1 Big onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Chives fresh
- Cut the sausage into small strips and set aside. Also cut the cheese into small strips.
- Cut the onions into small cubes and also set aside. Cut the chives into fine rolls.
- For the dressing, put the water, oil, vinegar, citric acid and mustard in a blender jar and mix. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
- Put the sausage and cheese in a bowl, spread the dressing over it and mix well. Let the sausage salad steep for about 30 minutes so that it can take on flavor. “My” tomato bread goes well with it 😉 You can find the recipe in my cookbook.
