a delicious craft
Line a springform pan with baking paper. Remove the crusts from all slices of bread. Place a layer of mixed bread in the pan and spread with Brunch herb mixture. Place a layer of white bread on top and press down lightly. Spread the Brunch paprika mixture on top, then place another layer of mixed bread on top and press down lightly. Remove the cake pan and spread the entire cake all around and on top with Brunch plain. Cut the chives into small rolls and garnish the cake edge with them. Peel the eggs and cut them into small cubes using an egg slicer or chop them with a knife and garnish the top of the cake with them, pressing down lightly. Halve the stuffed peppers lengthwise. Divide the cake into 12 slices and place half a pepper on each slice. Halve the gherkins lengthwise and slice them open like a fan, then place them in front of the peppers towards the center of the cake. If you like, you can deseed a red chili pepper, finely chop it, and sprinkle it over the cake. Serve it at room temperature, not too cold. A well-chilled pilsner is a great accompaniment.
