Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry, frozen or fresh puff pastry
- 1 can of tomatoes
- 200 g ham
- 100g salami
- 200 g cheese, grated
- some pizza seasoning
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Thaw the frozen puff pastry briefly, then roll up fresh puff pastry. Dice the ham and salami into small cubes and mix with the remaining ingredients. Season with pizza seasoning to taste. Divide the puff pastry into approximately 10 rectangles, roll half of the rectangles with a rolling pin. Turn the puff pastry corners over. Spread the filling on the unworked, “smooth” half, fold the remaining half over it in a lattice pattern, and press down lightly. Place on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper), add about 2 handfuls of water, and bake in the oven at approximately 180°C for 15-20 minutes. After 10 minutes, briefly open the oven door to allow the steam to escape. I’ve also filled the puff pastry with ham, pineapple, and cheese, or with ham, tomatoes, and feta cheese—also delicious!
