Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g potatoes, boiled
  • 2 onions
  • Caraway seeds
  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • Oil, for frying
  • some brewing paste or brewing powder
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 bunch chives, in rolls
  • 300 g cheese, Gouda
  • Butter, in flakes
  • Parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • marjoram
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Grease a baking dish with oil. Layer the potatoes and onions in it. Season with salt, pepper, marjoram, and caraway seeds. Season the minced meat to taste and spread it over the potatoes. Place the tomatoes over the minced meat and sprinkle with chives. Top with cheese and a few knobs of butter. Bake at medium heat for about 30-45 minutes.
