Schnitzel in a cornflake coating

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 schnitzels
  • Cornflakes, unsweetened
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • Flour
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Crush the cornflakes, otherwise the crust won’t be as nice. Season the schnitzel and coat it one at a time in flour, egg, and cornflakes. Press the cornflakes firmly onto the surface. Then fry in a hot pan with plenty of oil over medium heat until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
