Schnitzel in Rice Nest – Layered Schnitzel

The perfect schnitzel in rice nest – layered schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 10 piece Small pork schnitzel
  • 5 piece Leek
  • 2 piece Big red pepper
  • 3 piece Tomatoes
  • 2 cups Crème fraîche with herbs
  • Salt, pepper, hot paprika, flavor fond or stock powder
  1. Wash the leeks, bell peppers and tomatoes and cut into small slices / pieces.
  2. Fry the schnitzel briefly in lard. And season with salt, pepper and paprika. Briefly continue to fry. Take out and keep warm. Fry the leek in the pan with the roasting fat, and when it is slightly brown, add the pepper pieces. Finally the tomato pieces. Stir in the stock powder. Add the creme fraiche and stir. Don’t forget to taste.
  3. Lightly grease the bottom of the baking dish. Start with a layer of vegetables. The first 5 small schnitzel on top. Then vegetables again and then the last 5 schnitzel. Take vegetables as the last layer. Bake in the oven for another 25 minutes at about 175 °
  4. Cook rice. Make the rice on the plate to the nest, simply form the schnitzel and vegetable side dish in the middle.
