Schnitzel sandwich

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 pepper, mild
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 pork schnitzels (100 g each)
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 8 slices of toast (sandwich)
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 3 tbsp ajvar
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the garlic and onion, cut the onion into eighths and finely chop the garlic, cut the peppers into fine slices, mix with olive oil and put into a grill pan together with the schnitzels, season and fry over high heat for 4 minutes, turning once. Toast the sandwich slices, spread one half with sour cream and the other with ajvar, top with the schnitzels and onions, fold together and serve.
