Schnitzel toast with asparagus

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 4 pork schnitzels, thinly sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 120 g asparagus from the jar
  • 4 slices of Gouda

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Season the schnitzel and fry in a pan. Toast white bread and top with the schnitzel, asparagus, and cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C until the Gouda is melted. Canned mushrooms can also be used as an alternative to the asparagus.
