Schnitzel with Mixed Vegetables
The perfect schnitzel with mixed vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Schnitzel (here: TK from Aldi Nord) approx. 125 g
- 2 Large brown mushrooms
- 1 Onion approx. 100 g
- 1 Red pointed pepper approx. 100 g
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 piece Ginger the size of a walnut
- 0,5 Red chilli pepper
- 2 Small spring onions
- 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 1 tsp Mild curry powder
- 1 Strong pinch of salt
- 1 Strong pinch of pepper
- Peel the onion and cut into wedges. Clean / brush and quarter the mushrooms. Clean and wash the pointed peppers and cut into rings. Peel and finely dice the garlic clove and ginger. Clean / core the chilli pepper and finely dice. Clean, wash and cut the spring onions into rings. The. Heat oil (2 tbsp) in a medium-sized pan and stir-fry the onion cubes, garlic clove cubes, ginger cubes, pointed pepper rings, mushroom quarters, chilli pepper cubes and spring onion rings vigorously. Season everything with salt (1 big pinch), pepper (1 big pinch) and mild curry powder (1 teaspoon). Finally, fry the schnitzel until golden brown and serve decorated / covered with the vegetables.
