Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g cornstarch
  • 120 g sugar
  • 250 g margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Sift the flour and cornstarch into a bowl. Add the sugar and margarine and knead everything into a smooth dough. Knead well again on a floured surface. Shape the dough into approximately 2.5 cm thick logs, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for a few hours. Cut the logs into 0.5 cm thick slices and place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Place the sheets one after the other in the preheated oven and bake at 160°C for approximately 50-55 minutes. Transfer the cookies, including the parchment paper, to a wire rack and allow to cool.
