Semolina cheesecake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g butter (or margarine)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 100 g semolina
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 2 can/n mandarin oranges OR
  • 300 g apples (Boskop, or similar)
  • Juice, tangerine juice (half of a can)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine all ingredients with a hand mixer (whisk attachment) to form a batter. Then stir in the finely chopped apples or mandarins (you can also mix both; they taste great too). Stir in half the juice from one can of mandarins. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan or loaf pan. Line the bottom of the pan with baking paper, as this makes it easier to turn out the cake. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) on the middle rack for 60 minutes. Tastes especially delicious lukewarm!
