Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 30 g margarine or butter
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • Parsley
  • 1 ½ liters beef broth, hot

Instructions

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the semolina (reserve about 1 tablespoon of semolina), the egg, and the spices. Let stand for 15-20 minutes. The dough should still be soft; if it’s still too runny, add the remaining semolina. Using two teaspoons, scoop out the dumplings and place them in the hot broth. Let stand for about 20-25 minutes.
