Semolina porridge or oatmeal porridge with fried banana

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml water or milk, 3.5%
  • 20 g semolina or fine oat flakes
  • ½ banana(s) or a whole
  • Oil for frying (rapeseed oil)
  • 1 tsp almond butter or rapeseed oil
  • e.g. coconut flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the water or milk. Add either 1.5 heaped tablespoons of semolina or 2 heaped tablespoons of finely ground oats, stir, bring to a boil, and then remove from the heat with the lid on and allow to continue swelling. Heat the rapeseed oil in a pan. Peel the banana and halve or slice it lengthwise. Add the banana pieces to the pan and fry on both sides over medium heat. Stir the almond butter or rapeseed oil into the porridge. Ladle the porridge into bowls and top with the banana pieces. If desired, the porridge can be garnished with coconut flakes, ground almonds, cinnamon sugar, honey, maple syrup, or peanut butter.
