Semolina pudding with strawberries

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g semolina
  • 2 liters of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 160 g margarine
  • 160 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large can of strawberries

Add the semolina to the milk, add a pinch of salt, and bring the milk to a boil. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the egg yolks, margarine, baking powder, and lemon juice and stir into the semolina porridge. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Transfer to a large baking dish and arrange the drained strawberries on top. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
