very juicy
Grease the bottom of a 26cm springform pan and preheat the oven to 200°C. Dough: Mix flour with baking powder. Add the remaining ingredients – except for the 1 tablespoon of flour for the edge – and mix everything with a mixer, first on the lowest speed, then on the highest speed, until a dough forms. Roll out 2/3 of the dough onto the springform pan base and prick several times with a fork. Wrap the springform pan edge around it. Knead 1 tablespoon of flour into the remaining dough, shape it into a log, and press it onto the pan to create a rim about 3cm high. Place the pan on the oven rack and pre-bake for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter for the topping. Peel, quarter, core, and grate the apples, mix with 75g of sugar and cinnamon, and spread over the pre-baked base. Mix the hazelnuts with the remaining ingredients and the melted butter and drizzle over the apples. Return the cake to the oven and bake for another 35 minutes. Remove the springform pan rim, remove the cake from the springform pan base, and let it cool completely on a wire rack. To all WWers: This cake gets 8 points (out of 12).
