Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 pork schnitzels or turkey schnitzels
  • 1 bag of cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ¼ liter of water
  • Flour for breading
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

well prepared for guests

Whisk the eggs and season with salt. Beat the schnitzels, season with salt and pepper. Mix the cream with the water. Roll the schnitzels in flour and dip them in the beaten eggs. Then coat them with grated Emmental cheese. Place the schnitzels on a greased baking sheet and pour the cream and water mixture over them. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Caution: If they’re overbrowning, cover with aluminum foil. Serve with curry rice and salad. Tip: You can also add additional seasoning; I like to add a 7-herb blend or a little paprika. Be careful with the salt, though, because of the salt content of the cheese.
