Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 120 ml water, lukewarm
  • 100 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 80 ml sunflower oil
  • e.g. sesame
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Place the flour in a bowl and mix with the dry ingredients. Add water, milk, and oil and knead into a soft dough. Add additional flour or milk as needed. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes. Then roll it out to about 2 cm thick and shape it into rings. Cover the rings again and let it rest for about half an hour. Then beat the egg and brush the rings with it. Roll in sesame seeds and bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat) until golden brown.
