Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 130 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 60 g sugar sprinkles, colored
  • Fat for the mold
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • some lemon juice or water
  • 40 g sugar sprinkles, colored

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Mix the softened butter and sugar together until creamy. Then add the eggs, one at a time, and beat for about 2 minutes. Mix the flour with the baking powder, add to the batter, and stir in. Finally, stir in the sprinkles. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) (160°C fan-assisted). Grease a loaf or bundt pan and spread the batter in it. Bake for about 30 minutes. Use a skewer to check that the batter is cooked through. After baking, let the cake stand in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out and let it cool. Meanwhile, mix the icing sugar with a little lemon juice or water until smooth and thick. Pour this over the confetti cake and sprinkle with the remaining sprinkles.
