Simple Country Bread

The perfect simple country bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Wheat flour
  • 7 g Dry yeast
  • Lukewarm water
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Sugar fine
  • Oil
  1. Mix the flour with the yeast and mix with the lukewarm water to form a smooth dough. Knead well (about 5 minutes). Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Preferably in a pot. Cover with a linen cloth. When the dough has doubled its amount, knead for another 2 minutes. Always from the inside out!
  2. Preheat the stove to 180 degrees and shape the dough into a bread. Put in a loaf pan and bake for 40 minutes. The fresh country bread is ready and everyone will be happy, just not the baker! Have fun baking and good appetite.
  3. The recipe is also suitable for rolls!
