Simple nut nougat muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g nougat (nut)
  • 175 g flour (type 405)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 150 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs, (M)
  • 75 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Finely chop the nougat. Combine the flour and baking powder. Mix the butter, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, and eggs until smooth. Alternately stir in the flour and baking powder mixture and the milk until creamy. Finally, fold in the nougat pieces. Line a muffin tin with paper baking cups and fill with the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes (test with a toothpick). Let cool briefly and remove the muffins from the tin. Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar or glaze or sprinkle as desired. There are countless possibilities here, and your imagination knows no bounds.
