Simple Strawberry Cake
The perfect simple strawberry cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 100 g Flour
- 70 g Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Baking powder
filling
- 1 packet Custard powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 300 ml Milk
- 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
Covering
- 400 g Strawberries
- 4 tbsp Strawberry Jam
- 2 tbsp Chocolate shavings, white

- Put all the ingredients for the base in a bowl and mix well with the mixer.
- Line a springform pan with baking paper, fill in the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, fan-assisted, for about 15-20 minutes. Then let cool down completely.
filling
- Put the milk in a saucepan. Custard powder and two tbsp. Add sugar and bring to the boil while stirring. Then continue to cook for about 1 minute while stirring and transfer to a bowl.
- Always go through the pudding with a fork, it cools down faster and no skin forms.
- When the pudding has cooled, stir in the creme fraiche. Spread the pudding cream on the cake base.
Covering
- Wash the strawberries, cut away the roots and cut the strawberries into slices. Spread the strawberry slices on the cake.
- Heat the jam in a pan over low heat and spread over the strawberries. Let cool down briefly and spread the white chocolate shavings on top.
