Spread out the puff pastry and smooth it out slightly. Cut 8 roughly equal-sized square pieces from each package of puff pastry. Use the remaining ingredients to make a smooth filling. Place about a tablespoon of this mixture into the center of each square (flatten slightly if necessary). Fold each corner over the filling towards the center, so that it looks like a small envelope. Spray or sprinkle these envelopes with a little water and place them on a baking sheet. In the meantime, preheat the oven (top/bottom heat) to approximately 200°C. Leave the envelopes in the oven for about 20 minutes, until they have reached a golden brown color. Check the desired degree of browning every now and then, as many ovens bake at very different temperatures! Note that the envelopes will open during baking; this is normal. After baking, the envelopes are dusted with powdered sugar. Tip: Add fruits, berries, flavorings, or alcohol to the filling for a more refined flavor. The sky’s the limit!
