Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 schnitzels (ham schnitzel)
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 can peas
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 500 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cube of meat broth
  • 150 ml milk, low-fat
  • 400 g crème fraîche
  • Sauce thickener, light
  • Paprika powder
  • oil

Instructions

Dice the onion and fry in a little oil. Finely shred the meat and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add it to the onions and fry. Once the meat is browned, add the water and the stock cube. Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes. Then add the mushrooms and peas and simmer for another 10 minutes. Finally, add the milk and crème fraîche. Thicken with the sauce thickener. We like to serve this with rice.
