Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

delicious casserole, also for more than 4 people, also great for children

Cook the spaetzle according to the package instructions, but reduce the cooking time by 3 minutes, as they will continue to cook in the oven. In the meantime, cut the schnitzel into strips and dice the onion. Marinate the meat with the soy sauce, sherry, and some freshly ground pepper for about 30 minutes. Heat the clarified butter in a roasting pan, fry the onion, add the meat, and fry. Deglaze with the tomatoes, rinse the can with a little water, and add the water (about 1/4 of the water in the can). Season to taste with soup seasoning, marjoram, salt, pepper, and a little gravy powder. Place the drained spaetzle in a baking dish, mix with the meat ragout, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 30-40 minutes. A green salad goes wonderfully with this. Also great to prepare for parties, birthdays, etc.
