Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g rice
  • 8 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 400 g chicken, shredded
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 ml cream (whipping cream)
  • 2 tbsp spice mix (Sonnentor spice and flower mix Provence)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Boil the potatoes. Meanwhile, chop the onion and fry it in a little oil along with the chicken strips. Finely chop the leek and add it. Chop or press the garlic cloves and add it. Season well with salt and pepper and pour in the cream (if you want more sauce, add a little flour to the pan and a little water to the cream). Simmer well, thickening the sauce if necessary. Add the spice mix at the end; do not cook. Serve the strips with the side dishes. The “Provence” spice and flower blend contains oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary, and lavender.
