Slush Ice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 handfuls of frozen fruit, such as melons
  • possibly water or fruit juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 2 minutes

quick low-calorie refreshment

Place the frozen fruit into the chopper attachment of a hand blender or blender and blend thoroughly, ideally using the pulse setting. This also works with a smoothie maker, but you’ll need to add a little water or fruit juice, which will make the slush ice a bit more liquid. Serve in a glass and enjoy. Tip: Cut honeydew melon or another melon into small cubes and freeze them so you’ll always have delicious frozen melons on hand. Because melons are mostly water, they’re especially good for slush ice and as a low-calorie dessert.
