Ingredients
 

  • 100 g Butter
  • 1,5 Bananas very ripe
  • 0,5 Lemon fresh
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Dr. Oetker Finesse Bourbon - Vanilla Flavor
  • 0,25 tsp Nutmeg
  • 175 g Flour
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool down. Peel and chop the bananas. Squeeze the lemon. Mash the banana and mix with the lemon juice to a smooth pulp.
  • Separate eggs. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff and chill. Mix egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract and nutmeg. Gradually add the butter and stir.
  • Mix flour with baking powder, sieve over. Add the cinnamon and mix everything briefly with the rest of the mixture. Finally fold in the egg whites.
  • Grease a small ring cake tin (approx. 17 cm diameter) and dust with flour. Pour in the batter. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes (stick test).
  • Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down. Carefully topple out of the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
