Small pear marzipan strudel

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 5 tbsp margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 ml water
  • 200 g cream cheese (Brunch classic)
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g pear(s), fresh or from the can
  • some lemon peel, grated (organic)
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

makes 4 small strudels

Knead the flour, 2 tablespoons of melted margarine, salt, and water into a firm dough with your hands and wrap in cling film. Chill for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, cut the marzipan into small cubes and mix with the vanilla sugar, lemon zest, and Brunch. Peel the pears as desired, then cut into quarters, core, dice, and fold into the cream. Roll out the dough as thinly as possible (you should be able to read a newspaper through it). Melt the remaining margarine and spread it on one side of the dough. Cut the dough into four equal rectangles. Place ¼ of the Brunch cream in the center of each rectangle and carefully roll up the dough, pressing the ends together. Brush the strudel with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
