Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 500 g flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda, or baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Combine 3 teaspoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and set aside. For the dough, combine the sugar with the brown sugar and gradually add the butter. Then beat in the eggs and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the flour with the salt and baking soda, then add the sugar/butter mixture. Stir only as needed (overmixing will make the cookies harder). Shape the dough into balls about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter and roll each one in the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
