Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 250 g margarine or butter
- 5 eggs
- 50 g sugar
- 50 g almonds, slivered
- 50 g butter
- Grease for the tray

Super quick sugar cake
Combine all ingredients except the last three in a bowl and mix with a mixer until a batter forms. Spread the batter on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with the sugar and slivered almonds and scatter the 50g of butter, cut into pieces, on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C – 210°C on the middle rack for about 20-25 minutes. Alternatively, I sprinkle the batter with the sugar and then spread a cup of sour cream on top.
