Tips and tricks for water softening
- If you have very hard water and your garden needs to be watered, you can mix two liters of tap water with one liter of distilled water for your garden plants.
- If you catch the water in a larger container, you can hang a peat bag in it. This softens the water for the garden directly.
- You can soften small amounts of water with a pinch of baking soda after cooking.
