Sour Cream Apple Pie
The perfect sour cream apple pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 250 g Flour
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 25 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg
- 100 ml Warm milk
- 50 g Butter
For covering:
- 4 Apples
- 1 cups Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Sugar
For the dough:
- Sift the flour into a bowl, add the dry yeast and mix.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg, milk and butter and knead.
- Cover the dough and keep it warm for about 30 minutes until it has visibly enlarged.
- Knead the dough well again on the work surface, then roll it out in a greased springform pan.
For covering:
- Peel and core the apples and cut into wedges. Then put on top of the dough.
- Bake at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for about 25 minutes.
- Mix the sour cream with the sugar and spread on the still warm cake.
