Sour cream cake on a tray with mandarins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¾ cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar (300 g)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water, as needed
  • 2 cups flour (250 g)
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 can/n tangerines
  • e.g. cake glaze or gelling sugar
  • 3 cups of cream
  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 3 packs of cream stiffener
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sheet cake

Combine oil, sugar, eggs, water, flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar in a batter. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 175°C for about 20 minutes. Let cool. Spread the drained mandarins on top. Thicken the mandarin orange juice with the cake glaze and pour over the cake. Whip the cream and sour cream separately with cream stiffener or gelling sugar until stiff. Stir together in a large bowl and spread over the cake. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the cake.
