Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 800 g waxy potatoes (preferably freshly harvested)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 4 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the potatoes and boil in lightly salted water for about 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile, wash the chives and pat them dry, then cut them into small rolls. Dice the ham. In a saucepan, combine the sour cream and milk and heat until warm, then season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Dice the potatoes, add them to the sauce along with the ham, and let them simmer for about 2 minutes. Add the chives (reserve some), stir, and season again to taste. Sprinkle with the remaining chives before serving. Tip: Potatoes from the day before also work well.
