Sour cream toast from the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 slices of toast
  • 1 cup of sour cream, approx. 200 g
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 150 g diced ham
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • chives
  • Parsley
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Place the slices of toast on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. For the sour cream spread, combine the sour cream with the remaining ingredients and spread it on the toast. Bake the toast in the oven at 225°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes. You can vary the ingredients. You can also add finely diced vegetables, such as mushrooms, bell peppers, spring onions, or salami, etc.
